No Fly Zone® Insect Repellent Technology Logo

Internationally, there are growing concerns regarding biting insect borne diseases.

No Fly Zone® Insect Repellent Technology is a permethrin-based technology that converts gear and garments into long- lasting, effective, and convenient insect protection.

The main ingredient, permethrin, is a man-made, contact insecticide, structurally similar to a naturally occurring chemical derived from the dried flowers of the Crysanthemum.

Vector borne diseases account for around 17% of all infectious diseases.

80% of the world's population is at risk of contracting one or more vector borne diseases.

There are over 800 tick species globally, only 4 tick vaccines in the world, none of them are approved in North America.

For the general public, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends use of permethrin treated clothing when traveling to areas where they will be exposed to disease carrying insects.

Repellents are an important tool to assist people in protecting themselves from malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever, typhus, Lyme disease, West Nile, and many other insect borne diseases.

The Center for Disease Control acknowledges that “Certain products which contain permethrin are recommended for use on clothing, shoes, bed nets, and camping gear and are registered with the EPA for this use.” *ww.medscape.com/viewarticle/438257,
